Anistemi's goal is to ease the burden of poverty one person at a time. We work to ensure every child we have contact with is provided a primary through high school education. A few of our students have also been supported to receive a college degree. Without the support of Anistemi, many, if not most of these children would never attend high school. They may finish grade 8 and go back to a community and family with very few opportunities or resources. Many would become pregnant at an early age and repeat the cycle, others are forced to turn to illegal activity to support their families.
